Reaching Out (and Responding) Properly
We all get automated LinkedIn messages. We all get emails from people that may have found our email on LinkedIn. When we are reaching out to people, it’s important to remember to be polite, provide value, and don’t be obnoxious on LinkedIn. When we do not wish to receive messages or emails, it’s also important to be polite. Unsubscribe, say, “no thank you” or just ignore it. Being rude on either side of this equation is unnecessary and unprofessional.
